recall having too many Malvasia Nera before, certainly not from
Puglia. That said, this was, in the typical, and brilliant way of
Natalino del Prete, transparent, and rustic done really well. Blood
oranges, black raspberries, soil, a touch of bitter herbs for added
complexity. The wine’s been named after the super-natural life
force that is Natalino’s daughter, Mina. Which is to say, yes, she’s
quite Jolly. Yet another part of this warm story.”
