當西葡旅程進行到1/3時,我其實完全沒有預期這裡可以釀造出頂級勃根地白酒的風格,其頂級款更是突破500美金,當然,跟如今頂級勃根地白酒的酒價比,恐怕還是少一個零,但酒質卻可以說是可以讓整個世界震驚的純粹與深邃。

在世界各地頂級產區:法國、美國、西班牙等地深耕過的他,最後回到家鄉葡萄牙的Dão,用一款Decanter 97(19 points in Revista de Vinhos),葡萄牙最高分,當地售價已經突破300歐,來向長期被法國佔據的世界白酒位置發出挑戰。

 

這款頂級酒除了可以說是葡萄牙白酒史上最貴的酒之一,大概也比99%的葡萄牙紅酒更昂貴。

27歲前,在法國波爾多、勃根地大學都拿到學位,並深耕法國釀酒學。他最後回到故鄉,吸取葡萄牙當代出色釀酒師的精髓,7年後,他回到故鄉Dão,找出最精髓地塊的一部分,投入他半生所學,震驚了整個葡萄牙葡萄酒權威人士,還有世界白酒權威跟媒體。

 

“I love fresh white wines, minerals, complexes, deep and red with a tip of rusticity, forest and spices. I believe that the Dão region is perfect for this type of wine, always thinking about the potential for aging, the whites and reds made by Eng. Cardoso de Vilhena in the Dão study center, a world reference, one the level of the best nectars of this world, very close to the sky… yes, that’s what I want to do!”
